Frequently asked questions
Direct answers about this prediction market tool and its limitations.
Does paper trading use real money?
No. Norynta paper positions are simulations. They do not submit orders, reserve funds, or represent ownership of real contracts.
How is paper profit and loss calculated?
The portfolio divides simulated stake by entry price to estimate contracts, then marks those contracts to the latest indexed market probability. It excludes real execution effects such as fees and slippage.
Can I close a paper position?
Yes. Closing records the latest available indexed probability as the simulated exit price and freezes the paper result.
Is paper performance evidence that a strategy will work live?
No. Simulated performance can differ materially from live results because fills, liquidity, timing, fees, access, and settlement risk are not fully reproduced.
